The whole world is in the crises of the coronavirus epidemic. The severity of the situation varies in each country, this situation is terrifying, and how this virus changed the whole world and all aspects and priorities. Fear is something normal but too much of anything is dangerous. So, Let’s do our best to stay calm and safe by following the guideline. Practice social distancing by staying home. If you have something important and you have to go out please remember not to touch your face and sanitize your hands whenever you touch something, Keep a distance between you and others. Wash your hands for 20 seconds At least. Saving lives and serving your Country Is simple In this case, you just have to stay home.

Since this is the best thing to do right now, let's see the bright side of it. This is an opportunity To Stay with your family and embrace your relationship and spend more time with your loved ones. It's a chance to explore yourself and work on developing your skills. If you are someone who's living alone, use this chance to know more about yourself, for some quality time with yourself. Here are some great ideas you can do while you are in quarantine:

1- Disconnect from negativity:

whether It's news or social media that feeds your fear, especially fake news and fake videos about this coronavirus. Take your information from a trusted source just to  Stay informed about the new updates. There is a huge difference between stay informed and sabotaging yourself by watching or reading Things That makes you feel bad and terrified. You will end up with excessive anxiety.

2- Journaling:

This is a great way to organize your thoughts And work through your emotions. Journaling Can help you express your feelings and Spot what you are going through. Remember It's okay to feel what you're feeling now with everything that is going on in the outside world.

I started gratitude journaling three years ago, it sounded cheesy to me at first. later on, it end up being really helpful to me On so many levels. Maybe we can talk about it in a different video.

Gratitude journaling will help you to shift your mentality from negative to positive, to get rid of fear from the future, It will help you to recognize the blessings you have rather than focusing on things that you don't have. It's very simple all you need is a notebook and a pen, I prefer to do it Old-school. In the morning I prefer to stay away from technology, I don't touch my phone first thing in the morning. Spend a few minutes writing a gratitude list about everything small or big anything that Crosses your mind which you're grateful for. I recommend to do it in the morning while you drink your morning coffee or tea. It helps your brain wake up in a peaceful and positive environment.

It will help you get rid of the habit of grabbing your phone right after you open your eyes and start scrolling and see negative content that might change your mood. You can also write small thoughts that Pop-out while you are writing your gratitude list. It can be a new inspiring idea or a new project idea...I write it down on this box so that I cannot forget it. I also try to write small Self notes or positive comments to myself in this box here.

3- Invest in yourself and in your time:

Take an online class that might help you in your career or in your studies, it can be learning a new language. If you don't have facilities or enough money that's not an issue. There are many ways to learn free. Use this time to learn something new that you always wanted but you never had time. Learning nowadays is extremely simple and easy, You can use youtube tutorials or lessons with their practice on free websites.  You just have to make time for it through your day and now with this Quarantine, it is the best time.

4- Clean your environment:

Clean your house and your room if you still live with your parents.  I mean deep cleaning, Get rid of extra items that you no longer need or use. From your kitchen, your wardrobe, your shoe closet, your Electronic devices, everything you don't need and you never use.

Redecorate your space. You don't have to buy new items, you can just rearrange the furniture and maybe create new simple and easy decoration from available things in the house. unleash your creative

5- Exercise at home:

Since most countries closed All the gyms and It's not a good idea to go anyway! You can start your own exercise routine. All you need is a small space, good music, and your determination.

If you don't have any exercise routine, You can look for a cardio class workout or Zumba class, or anything else on YouTube or download an app to help you workout.

6- Eat Healthy:

Eat healthily for the long term benefits and to boost your immune system to protect yourself from this epidemic.

Now, most cafes and fast-food restaurants are all closed because of this coronavirus. So take this opportunity to cook yourself a delicious meal. Making healthy yummy food is a form of taking care of yourself and your beloved ones. Try to include foods that boost your immune system in your diest. There is a whole article about the best foods to boost your immune system on my website. The link is in the description box.

7- Meditate:

Just for 5 or 10 minutes, simply close your eyes and breathe. You can look for breathing exercises tutorials. If you're someone who can't stay in complete silence you can use some nature music as a background or some calm piano music or use the Quran, Choose your favorite Surah. I'm warning you if you never have done this. It can be frustrating at first. So many ideas will come to your mind probably the ones you don't want because you have been ignoring them for so long.

So either you deal with these thoughts or think why they keep popping up each time and face them and work on them. or you will choose to do a different activity that helps you mute these voices and ignore these ideas. But trust me with practice you will be able to clear your mind and to control your ideas. Eventually, that's the main point of meditating.

You will think that you've been sitting or meditating for so long while You just spent 1 or 2minutes.  When I first started meditating My maximum time was two minutes. I remember my first time; I thought I spent more than 10 minutes setting while in the timer it was only one minute.

8- Reading:

Reading can help you grow. A book is a concentrated juice of a brain. It's a series of experiences of a person that gather them in a book so you can have it in your hands and benefit from it.

This is a relaxing activity that you can both enjoy and learn from. If you're someone who doesn't enjoy reading start by reading one page a day. Choose a book about something that you like something that interests you. You can also use audiobooks especially if you want to be multitasking. You can listen to an audiobook while cleaning or cooking or exercising. Or simply just enjoy your audiobook with a cup of coffee or a cup of tea.

9- Practiced a Hobby:

In our daily lives full of responsibilities we end up ignoring our passion and hobbies. Well, now it's the perfect time to clean the dust on your hobby and get back to it or maybe you want to pick up a new hobby. In both ways, this is the right time to find an activity that will bring you joy and happiness. Something that will make you feel good and alive.
