Since we spend most of our time in the virtual world, we eventually forget to invest in our lives in the real world. With plenty of social media influencers and with the variety of lifestyles, we get lost in the middle. The result of spending too much time on social media is making comparisons that might lead to envying. The worst part is making assumptions about the life of people you are following such as, how perfect their lives are.
Here are some pieces of advice:
♡ Never trust what you see on social media. People share the bright side of their lives.
There is nothing known as "perfect", so don't go after perfection."It's only those imperfections which we choose not to see!" Albert Einstein
♡ Never compare your life to others. Instead of doing this, think about what's wrong with your life and start making a right.
♡ Why would you keep following someone who would make you feel bad about yourself?
The first reason you followed them is maybe to motivate you to go after your dream or entertain you but following "this person" didn't help you in any way. In fact, it made hate your life and the world!
In real life, we avoid negative people, fake people or those who make us feel like we are not enough. So why isn't the case when it comes to social media?!
Why keeping ourselves surrounded by a flammable circle where there is something called "unfollow"
♡ Unfollowing useless pages and people will help you spend less time on the visual world and let you focus more on the real one. Stop killing your productivity and wasting your time and emotional energy on this. The only way of making your life better is by working on it.
